ALARK (A Loving Act of Random Kindness) is an organization dedicated to helping others help others through “fun”draisers and charity donation drives. Events include activities such as film screenings, live art performance, and sharing in food and drink with one another. ALARK was founded by Rebekah Valcarcel & Geino Äotsch in August of 2013. Our mission is to help replenish funds for organizations that are supporting the welfare of those who cannot, with respect to all living beings regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race, creed, spirituality, or background. Our hope is to bring more light, more food, and more money into any and every community as a whole to establish good health and sound mind among all. We believe that these acts will carry with them the abilities for many, if not all, to build healthier relationships and stronger communication confidence by manifesting a commonality with each other. We provide input and direction for federally-funded primary care activities, and advise the Health Department on current and emerging matters in public health, including program reviews, policy development and budget recommendations.[BHI] Is part of the Building Better Care 2.0 model. This workgroup sets out to improve health outcomes through a team based approach that is proactive, client centered, and relationship based. Delivery of care is coordinated and organized to promote and sustain this relationship. Access is centered on client needs. Skills in vocal training under the instruction of Julie Cato of Kansas City, Missouri at The Music Arts Institute and Diane Syrcle of Portland, Oregon Executive Vice President to The Oregon Symphony. My singing experience began from the age of three preforming in various churches, chorales, plays and musicals. My first major role was in the Musical Wheels in 1986 performing as the lead male vocalist. My second performance was in Santa's Frosted Follies in 1987. I was also an active member in the Sawdust Singers in 1986-1987 under the direction of Mrs. Cynthia Jett. Following these performances I became a member of a local play house performing in various musical numbers just outside of Houston, Texas. Upon returning to the Kansas City, Missouri area I landed four more roles in the plays Fiddler on the Roof, Bye Bye Birdie, Godspell, and Man of La Mancha. Under the direction of Mr. Mark Lee I carried solo performances in his Concert Chorale Blue & Gold, traveling to compete against other choirs in the Washington D.C. area. I sang numerous solos including the United States National Anthem as well as duets at various churches during this time also performing in quartets and madrigals at state level. I auditioned and became a member of both All State Choir and All District Choirs in Missouri. I have been vocally training and actively performing live at weddings & clubs also composing and singing my own music over the last 15 years.

Oh how the digital world has changed our lives in photographing weddings. I know my peers will agree, digital makes it easy in the wedding world. I still shoot print film as well, although I don't photograph weddings as much as I used to. This is always a fun talent to resurface when the opportunity arises.
