Recruited to energize and grow the Americas business of this 30 year old, publicly traded, leader in distribution resource management software (formerly known as International Business Systems). Raised customer satisfaction, improved delivery quality, and upgraded organization. Left following acquisition by a private equity group that inserted its own management team.

Initially responsible for integrating several North American consulting practices of this $400 million, publicly traded, global software company. Also served as the first CIO for the company – establishing strategy, initiating integration plans, and building a team to carry the company forward. Following a successful first year, was promoted to also lead global customer support operations for the maintenance revenue stream of $110 million. Final role included responsibillity for integrating multiple acquired IT services companies into a unified, $100 million business unit with global operations. Left following a successful IPO.

Joined to lead the Southeast practice of this 20 year old, closely-held, international consultancy whose target clientele was the Global 2000. Following a phenomenal first year, was promoted to run the entire Southern Sector (which represented twenty percent of overall Headstrong revenue).

Recruited to energize Southeast practice of this privately-held, professional services firm whose target clientele is the $50-$500 million “growth market.”

Launched the Atlanta office of this publicly traded, professional services firm whose target clientele was the $50-$500 million “middle market.” Initial service areas included package deployment (JD Edwards, SAP, Infinium), custom application development (client server, AS/400, and Internet based technologies), and network enabled solutions (Lotus Notes / Microsoft Exchange, LAN/WAN design and implementation, e-commerce).

Launched the Atlanta office of this publicly traded firm whose target market is the Fortune 500. Provided custom application development services on a fixed price, fixed time basis.

Recruited to define new focus for I/T efforts needed to support business growth (>20%), shifting customer base (from cable companies to telephone companies), and rapid rise in international business (from 26% to 33%) in this $800 million technology company.

Newly created, strategic leadership position. Chartered to develop and execute an I/T plan to support long-term business goals of North Carolina based chemical manufacturer with annual sales of $1 billion. Initial efforts focused on improving I/T responsiveness to business issues and improving the I/T infrastructure (communications, services, resource allocation and availability).
