Manage three separate teams consisting of Network, Telecommunications and Infrastructure. 12 people and 11 students. Over two fiscal years, reduced overall spend by 35% while still providing services critical to university operations. Evaluating risk and implementing technology changes while following University overall mission. Overall Operational budget of roughly 4 million dollars. Currently managing and implementing 5-million-dollar project to upgrade core, access, wireless and network infrastructure of Kent State University Main and Regional Campuses. Migration of Core and Distribution nodes were completed under budget with zero impact to constituents. Completed Core and Distribution migration during Global Pandemic with only virtual support from new vendor.

Participated and large contributor to Border Firewall Implementation, Juniper Core Migration, Redesign and Improvement of Campus Wireless and large-scale documentation of all of Network Services.

Great understanding of RF technology to include microwave line of sight (LOS), and Satellite Communications (SATCOM).
