I applied for this Internship as a software developer to take a step further in my programming-career and get an insight on company-based and project-oriented developing of software. At the start, I had several tasks to accomplish in C#, got introduced to SQL databases and Arduino programming. My self taught basic skills in Python were not needed in this internship. As a finishing project, I was involved in developing a GeoJSON interface for their company software. It is a really welcoming and modern-thinking company. I am super thankful for everything they have taught me!

German Navy Infantry soldier, working in a unit that specialises in refugee rescuing and piracy defending. Job requirements include severe mental and physical strength in order to search and handle persons and vessels for f.e. weapon smuggling, substance smuggling, human trafficking, etc. We are trained to execute refugee rescuing which includes behavioral training, close-quarter combat and Krav Magá training, transferring by roping out of a helicopter onto the vessel, securing documentation, and organizing and performing educational training missions for f.e. the special forces of Ghana and Slovakia.The highlight of my career in the Navy was being sent to the Ghana Special Forces as one of four chosen instructors from my unit plus external medic to train and prepare those soldiers in our expertise.
