Led the risk management function, Risk and Capital Committee, key risk reporting, Financial Condition Testing (FCT), and own risk and solvency assessment (ORSA) completion, and served as a senior member in the parent company’s Executive Risk Council. • Created a full-risk policy suite, including risk appetite, from scratch through to Board approval.• Developed and implemented a successful risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) process throughout all Canadian entities, using the exercise to build a new company identity around a strong risk culture.

Provide Leadership and direction in charge of reserving, reporting and monitoring in Finance area for individual life and health products. Report and communicate results including reserves, SOE and KPI’s to senior stakeholders. Worked to reveal key areas for maximizing future earnings and improved business processes.Key Projects: Initiated implementation of Predictive Modeling into experience study/assumption setting for Term, led project to rebuild model for pfad setting.
