Mechanical Engineer with a PhD in technical sciences. Over 10 years of experience in engineering, which I have spent building two parallel careers, one as a professor and a researcher in academic community, and the other as an engineer working on over 30 different projects through industrial collaboration. This gives me the possibility of connecting what people tend to see hardly connectable, classroom and workshop, construction site and research laboratory, teacher/professor and engineer. There is a benefit for everyone in this kind of connection, for my students as well as my colleagues and partners in the industry. And of course, there is a benefit for me to grow faster as an engineer and teacher since I can implement my knowledge and research to real problems occurring in industry, and to share those problems with students thus enabling them to understand the theory easier, to connect theory and practice, and to prepare them specifically for the work which they are supposed to do.I am very interested in pursuing new knowledges and applying them to both industry or academia to deliver results on complex projects which meet client's needs and exceed expectations.
