I am the founder and director of Gemba Service BV, a company that provides innovative and effective solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) and information technology (IT) fields. I have more than 26 years of experience in leading and managing all the activities within Gemba Service BV, from business analysis and operations management to customer and employee satisfaction. I hold an HBO degree in Ships Engineering from Hogeschool Zeeland and multiple certifications in data science and IoT from Coursera and The Johns Hopkins University.I am passionate about being between the people and keeping a feeling with them. I do not want to view things from a distance, but rather engage with the products and processes that involve people. That is where the theory is created and converted into practice. I also value corporate social responsibility and support charities and nonprofit organizations, such as Humanitas Amsterdam en Diemen and Adviesraad Sociaal Domein Landsmeer, where I serve as a board member and a member of the advisory council respectively.
