On the front-line of IT within Local Government at one of the leading metropolitan Councils in Melbourne, with the aim to provide the ideal service that meets the needs of today's user while maintaining a high level of integrity and security for the services we provide.IT is my passion, and through this role it allows me to share this passion in an organisation that provides value to both the community and the staff that support it.My role is to provide 3rd Level support to the users within the organisation, which includes a varied range of duties such as Hardware and Software installation, system provisioning and implementation, Active Directory management, Network Security and application virtualisation through systems such as Citrix.Previous experience in a varied range of Municipal services allow me to draw on my knowledgebase to determine what will provide the ideal solution for the end user, drawing from knowledge in areas such as Civil Design, By-laws & Administration. These previous experiences cover, but aren't limited to, areas such as road & drainage design, traffic management, and service design through the use of top-tier design packages provided by Autodesk, Topcon as well as experience in Animal Control, Shelter management, Enforcement and Infringements.
