Responsibilities:• Recording and categorizing day-to-day transactions• Managing and monitoring of cash flow• Maintaining a petty cash account• Reconciling bank transactions• Managing office supplies stock, placing orders, and monitoring purchases• Checking invoices and ensuring bills are paid in a timely manner• Preparing and processing checks• Collecting employee timesheets• Calculating employee work hours• Preparing and calculating employee compensation• Monitoring payments to salaried and hourly employees• Scheduling electronic payments and handing out paychecks• Calculating bonuses, allowances, final pay, and separation pay• Distributing paycheck stubs to employees• Entering new employees’ data into internal databases• Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes, and deductions• Performs own clerical duties, such as maintaining paper and electronic files• Organizing important and confidential company documents• Contacting and maintaining relationships with vendors and bank employees through phone and email• Working and coordinating with the accountant• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations of office.
