My year long research, needs assessment and planning informed our Mini First Aid training program for our people:- ‘Diverse Perspectives’. Our 140 ish nationwide trainers are now ALL certified in Signs and Symptoms in Black & Brown skin (unique, so far in any U.K. first aid training organisation). So all delegates and class attendees are genuinely able to to leave our classes knowing they can offer the same standard of first aid care to any casualty, of any skin tone. I give bespoke coaching to our franchisees in their growth and business development, ensuring they are the best they can be, with the rigorous Internal Quality Assurance program I designed, together with my colleague James Reddin. At Mini First Aid we focus on the franchisee’s goals and through challenging any self limiting beliefs in targeted, focussed coaching sessions, I facilitate growth and success across our whole business. My onboarding process evolved organically based on business needs at the time. My experience as a primary school teacher was invaluable in being able to train our people in a reflective way, using the assessment/planning cycle.
