Support the Category manager in all aspects of Vendor operational management to ensure the best in class data integrity, system tools and reporting

Managing, training and developing a team within Vendor Finance. Responsible for the reconciliation of vendor receivables accounts and completion of Month End Reporting. Building effective business relationships with vendors to resolve queries and minimise likelihood of bad debt. Responsible for end to end performance metrics of the AR process and integrating SLAs and KPIs internally and externally.

Responsible for assisting the Financial controller in all aspects of vendor promotions, rebates and claims whilst using SAP to ensure maintenance of the ship and debit and rebate accounts. To liaise with Vendors and various internal teams to ensure that all claims are submitted accurately and credited in full with compliance to vendor terms and conditions. Approving vendor promotions and ensuring that all ship and debits are accurately applied to the business. Ensuring timely resolution of all queries and discrepancies resulting from vendor promotions through analysing data and open communication.

Responsible for providing excellent customer service and guidance in order for customers to realise their personal financial goals. Involves the ability to recognise and develop sales opportunities and engage people from all walks of life, gathering information, matching requirements to products and closing the sale.Requires knowledge of the financial services industry, efficiency and accuracy in following sales processes and completing related administration. Additionally requires strong inter-personal and sales skills by generating natural conversations and triggering customer curiosity by highlighting relevant products.
