I’ve been a massage therapist for 20 years and an advocate for creating more inclusive environments for vulnerable adults.9 years ago I dedicated my private practice exclusively to helping patients recovering from neurological conditions and injuries. I saw the incredible power of touch to help my patients regain mobility, reduce pain and improve their quality of life. It’s my immense privilege to be able to serve this population. But sadly, there are more patients in need than I’m able to take on and not enough Neuro Massage Specialists.This is what inspired me to start Neuro Massage Training School.To equip massage professionals with an in-depth understanding of various neurological conditions and injuries and how to best adapt patient approach. We also share evidence-based techniques proven to reduce pain and accelerate rehabilitation when used appropriately.
