• Building relationships with suppliers at all levels from Supplier admin staff to director level.• Updating and maintaining on a daily / weekly basis the budget tracker, ensuring that the department is within Budget and still maintaining high KPIs.• Line management and ensuring smooth day to day running of my team, including weekly one to ones, monthly reviews and ensuring that an up to date PDP was active and followed. • Implementing and delivering the new starter training, ensuring that all new starters have the best start to thrive in their new role. Also offering refresher training to all colleagues – monitored on a traffic light system, “what good looks like”.• Managing process Improvements, I implemented a new European Bookings process and reduced the work load on the Break Bulk and Transfer process.• Challenging suppliers to ensure that we work sufficiently and effectively. • Collaborative working relationship with the Trading Teams, in relation to over stocks and selection of new products.• Working collaboratively with The Customer Fulfilment, DI and The Product Flow team to reduce customer fails, where delays have occurred with DI and European loads. • Managing my team to make decisions to try and reduce customer failed deliveries, whilst making the best decisions for the business. Working with the Contact Centre to ensure any failed deliveries the customers at advised at the earliest opportunity and that an alternative was always offered at the point of first contact. • Daily and weekly monitoring of KPI’s, ensuring consistently high serviceability and availability. Ensuring that there is an updated recovery plan always.• Analysing range sell through to increase or decrease orders and amending the forecast accordingly.• Reviewing the promotional plan on a weekly basis, ensuring adequate orders are placed and stock cover is maintained.
