About Gemma Jelbert
I love my job! How lucky am I to be able to say that?! I make a difference everyday not only to the young people and children I work with but also to thier parents and/or carers. As an employer Action for Children is forward thinking, supportive and flexible. They offer many training and education opportunities which has enhanced my knowledge over the years and my direct line managers always make me feel valued and provide space for reflection enabling my ability to always improve and develop my professional practice. I have eight year’s service across multiple Action for Children services including youth work, parenting support and disability services. My interests include travel, interior design and photography and I have a real passion for supporting all people to reach their potential.My future aspirations are to further my knowledge of positive behaviour support strategies and strengthen my exsisting makaton skills
