In 2009 sold part of the company to the worldwide yachting services leader BWA Yachting, that wanted to enter the Spanish market through the local leader.

Founded BcN Yacht Services, that became the leading superyacht agent in Spain, covering services in the main Spanish ports and Balearic Islands: berth reservation, itinerary planning, Immigration & Customs formalities, spares supply, provisioning, medical services and concierge services both to crew and superyacht owners. In 2009 sold part of the company to the worldwide yachting services leader BWA Yachting, that wanted to enter the Spanish market through an established local leader.

In charge of the Finance Department at Prevention Services of Midat Mutua Insurance (1000 employees), Gemma lead the business unit through the process of being privatized. She developed the business plan, reviewed internal processes and customer policies; and evaluated workforce procedures in order to detect inefficencies and implementating measures accordingly.

Amena was the third largest mobile telecom company in Spain. Gemma was in charge of analysing all potential strategic suppliers in core areas such as providers for SIM cards, Call center services, phone terminal brands, branch branding image management, marketing services etc. This process was key in a moment were the company was just born after winning the Public licitation process; and that the success was highly dependent on the quality and commitment of the strategic suppliers chosen.

Based in London, Gemma was Senior consultant within the Internal Audit/Consultancy department. She was in charge of planning evaluation of possible acquisitions in other countries, implementing new processes in local branches, auditing specific departments to be compliant with corporate policies, search for inefficiencies, as well as assisting the external auditors. 90% of time travelling to branches in USA, Germany, South Africa, France and Italy.

Performing financial audits as a junior auditor and later as team leader of manufacturing companies in different industries such as textile, pharmaceutical and chemical components.
