Working across Supermarket, Convenience and Argos formats to manage the spatial design of new stores, alternations to existing stores and new concepts, to ensure the best shopping environment for customers, the optimum working environment for store colleagues, and achieve the company specification in regard to layout, operation requirement and cost.

Working within the group property team, produce store planning drawings from inception to completion for new digital Argos stores, extensions , store refits and habitat concessions . Duties:Plan and support the delivery of Argos’s store investment programmeDevelop new Argos Digital Concept storesProvide office space planning drawings for the facilities management departmentProvide colleagues with accurate store plans, achieved through a common sense, right first time approach to tasksAccountable for the preparation of completed store layouts for inputting onto our Argos store space system, ensuring operational, marketing and stock-racking are correctly reported onProvide store planning knowledge to colleague’s queries and requests, validating and creating store plans in line with company standards to demonstrate they are adding value.Liaise with the project management, Store Development s & Marketing to create the best possible schemesUse buzzsaw to issue drawings & keep other departments & external contractors up to date with the latest informationCreate blocks & issue to team once specification has been agreedCreate 2D plans for Front & back of house, creating layouts that make the best use of stockroom space to hold maximum stock & create a public area that has the best customer journey & helps maximise sales.Survey buildings / existing and new Argos stores to produce drawings to a high standard.
