I have always thrown myself into experiences, conversations and opportunities to get to know the wider world around me, and whilst working in an operational role within Social Housing, I found my passion- people. This led me on a journey of development in a front line role completing my CIM, and opened doors for me to explore the functions of social care, charities and commissioned services, I paved my way in operations and management, finding my WHY a little later. I experienced fantastic partnership work with a key worker at Change Grow Live and didn’t look back. Working within community development, SUI and supporting volunteers, I continued to find a way to combat stigma and support people to change, to thrive and to find their place in the wider community. Since then, my move has been within our organisation to support our staff, to coach and to facilitate space for them to grow and learn within their leadership roles, and to engage employees across the whole of the UK and Scotland with values based thinking. Alongside this I’m currently studying for my CIPD Level 5 and look to continue my career in organisational culture transformation, learning and development.
