About Gemma Newman
Currently about to enter my 8th year within the events industry, having worked on the ground as a security operative, and working my way into the role I currently have, Assistant General Manager, all with Newman Event Services.I have vast experience within the following roles: Event Security, Event/Festival Response Teams, Security Control rooms, Security Supervisor and Security Designated Safeguarding Lead. Achievements:- I have been featured in the Crowd Magazine's edition focused on Woman in the Event industry, where i highlighted that women are such a key part of the industry, and that we need to be relying on men to help encourage women to join it! The Access All Areas (AAA) 30under30 programme is designed to celebrate the young, exceptionally talented individuals in the outdoor and live events industry; showcasing their achievements and rewarding their passion, creativity and brilliance that makes them the leaders of tomorrow. From March 2021, The Access 30 programme is a 12-month process that consists of fantastic opportunities, designed specifically to give the Access 30 winners; the skills, awareness and confidence to be effective leaders within the Events industry.
