In my capacity as a senior legal secretary for the Constitutional and Advocacy Branch at Crown Law, some key responsibilities I held include:• Accurate word processing and typing; • Organising of meetings, conferences and interviews; • Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodation; • Preparing briefs and documents including routine correspondence;• Maintain filing for lawyers assigned to me across MHRT, DP(SO)A and prosecution teams;• Reporting on the prosecutions team work allocations and outstanding MHRT hearing attendance reports and Tribunal decisions; • Records management, including archiving, for the prosecutions and MHRT team; • Managing incoming calls and visitors; and • Assisting the team to meet financial deadlines such as monthly billing.

My primary role at Crown Law was archiving for the Advocacy Chambers team. This included preparation of historical material for the records team including indexing all legal documents and correspondence for archiving matters, collection and delivery of documents within the Brisbane CBD and other general duties relating to administrative functions such as financial and asset management as required.

In my capacity as Office Junior at Smartline Machinery Pty Ltd I was responsible for several areas of office administration including file management, customer relations management and accounts receivable matters. I also assisted in general book keeping matters such as MYOB receipts entry. I continue to work with Smartline Machinery Pty Ltd during University holiday breaks in an administrative role.
