As a finance business partner I support surgical specialties at Heartlands hospital. My role focuses on financial planning and reporting, service development and business case preparation, and influencing decision making through provision of advice in order to achieve group objectives.Whilst on the NHS national Graduate Management Trainee Scheme, I gained experience working in financial accounts and financial management. I completed a 2 month secondment with Deloitte as part of the scheme focusing on operational efficiency as part of a financial recovery programme.I completed my BA (Hons) Business Management and Marketing degree at Nottingham Trent University in July 2020. I achieved a 1st class grade and placed 3rd overall within my course.During my degree, I completed a 1 year placement at Jaguar Land Rover in the Material Planning and Logistics department. I was focused on process improvement, and striving for lean and efficient production.
