I currently work as a Commissioning & Partnerships Manager for Voluntary Community & Social Enterprise (VCSE) across the East of England.Previously I have worked as a Senior Probation Officer, managing wonderful teams (the Sexual Offending Programmes Team in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire and, prior to that, the Cambridge Probation Office). I joined the Probation Service in 2002 and qualified as a Probation Officer in 2004. I have specialised in working with domestic abuse perpetrators and have delivered into rehabilitative programmes for over 15 years. I have delivered Sexual Offending Programmes.I have worked as a Police Officer and have a varied insight into the Criminal Justice System, having also volunteered as a Restorative Justice panel member for the Youth Offending Service and as an advisor for a helpline for family members of prisoners.I have worked as a part of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub and have engaged in MARAC and MAPPA meetings. I am passionate about evoking positive change in people and ultimately contributing to making the world a better and safer place.Being vegan, I extend kindness and compassion to all living beings. I love animals and spend a lot of time helping them where I can. I have rescued many animals over the years.I am not afraid of a challenge and am very hardworking and motivated. I work well with people and am able to bring out the best in them.
