After finishing my travel and tourism diploma & looking for full time employment I was employed at the hotel as a receptionist back in August 2007. Within a few months of working at the hotel I was grated the position of reception supervisor, during this period I was still completing all of the daily tasks as a standard receptionist but also taking on a more senior role such as taking part in staff training, ensuring all reservations were inputted and dealt with correctly, dealing with customer complaints and handling them sufficiently and generally just to be on hand to support my reception manger whenever needed.
