Qualified Cardiac Physiologist since 2010. Experience in ECG, Holter, ETT, tilt table testing and I used to do cath lab and pacing, including on call for primary PCI. Specialist in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography. British Society of Echo (BSE) accredited since 2012. Experience in performing, reporting and teaching and training. Worked in stress echocardiography since 2015, and sat the BSE Stress Echo exam in 2019 (due to sit practical exam in August).Worked extensively in cardio-oncology, mainly for Herceptin.My main special interest has been Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) for the last 6 years. I now work at Birmingham Children’s Hospital where I look to apply my knowledge and skills accrued to date to the paediatric cardiology setting and become proficient in congenital heart disease. I plan to sit either EACVI or BSE Congenital exam in the next 12 months.In the meantime I am maintaining my adult BSE accreditation at hospitals around the region to maintain a high skill level in standard echocardiography.Hobbies: swimming, holidays, picnics. Starting to learn Spanish!
