Assisting the Financial ControllerSame duties as below

The following duties apply to TRM and its Sister Company, MICC LTD during this time: Chasing customers with overdue invoices; posting customer payments to SAGE; banking; manual and computerised bank reconciliation; paying foreign suppliers and our German Agent' commission using an International Money Mover Payment form; paying UK suppliers by cheque and BACS; prepare monthly statements of account for customers; complete monthly VAT Returns; complete monthly Intrastat forms; complete VAT 101 Forms (EC Sales List) every month and send to HMC&E; and General Administration duties; prepare and send staff time-sheets to the Accountants so they can process the monthly salaries. I also prepare the month end profit and loss and balance sheets. Since October 2006, I also have knowledge of using RBS Invoice Financing and their Facflow system, which entails the submission of any sales invoices raised, customer receipts received and monthly reconciliations. I also assist the RBS Auditors.As Trainee Admin Officer, my tasks included General Administration - send faxes and emails for the Directors; design and create publications, Company documents and photocopy existing documents; deal with depositing received cheques into the bank account and cross-reference the payment into the Sage bank account and customer record, chase any customers who have any outstanding debt, calculate and pay our German Agent's commission every month from payments received that month from his customers

Monthly management accounts; quarterly VAT Returns; sales invoicing; purchase ordering; bank reconciliation; RBS IF inputs and reconciliations; assisting RBS Auditors

Dealing with customers face-to-face; ensuring total customer satisfaction; handling money and stock; ensuring the workplace was clean and tidy at all times; preparing the window display; washing the dishes; cleaning the mirrors; cleaning out the window display at the end of the day
