I am a highly driven and adaptable professional with a strong foundation in human physiology and clinical experience, currently working as a Health Advisor at Bupa's Chancery Lane centre. My role involves conducting comprehensive health assessments—including phlebotomy and VO2max testing—and collaborating with patients to develop actionable plans for improving their health and fitness. This has enabled me to hone my communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, all of which are integral to effective healthcare delivery.Previously I have gained an undergraduate degree in Human Biosciences from the University of Exeter, where I focused on human physiology. My undergraduate dissertation explored the effects of precooling strategies on the cognitive performance of motorsport athletes, reflecting my ability to connect physiological concepts with real-world applications. Through my studies and research, I gained unique laboratory experience across bioscience and sports science fields, developing advanced critical thinking, data analysis, and research skills.Beyond my academic and clinical background, I have demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities in various roles. As a student representative and digital learning assistant for the College of Life and Environmental Sciences, I facilitated communication between students and faculty and supported digital innovation initiatives. My leadership experience includes serving as a Kilimanjaro challenge leader and working with NMiTE, where I learnt how to manage teams effectively to achieve tangible results. Notably, I delivered a presentation at the 2022 National Student Fundraising Association conference, showcasing my public speaking and organisational expertise.I thrive in dynamic environments and excel both independently and within teams. My commitment to continuous growth and my multidisciplinary expertise enable me to contribute effectively to any professional setting. I am excited to apply what I have learnt as a Health Advisor - communicating and applying health science - to innovating health and policy on a larger scale.

Digital Learning AssistantUniversity Of Exeter Jun 2020 - Aug 2021Working with university colleagues across the College of Life and Environmental Sciences to support 'Project Enhance': aiming to improve and elevate the student experience in response to COVID-19 and the future. Moreover, this experience allows me to learn outside my discipline academically and develop new professional skills.I have been able to research other academic programs across the globe, help optimise the new digital learning format in our college, and gather student feedback before implementing desired changes. -
Student Consultant: Design CohortNmite Sep 2018 - Aug 2019Hereford, England, United KingdomWorked as a student consultant for NMiTE, a start-up engineering university in Hereford, which aims to revolutionise higher education. It provided a unique and insightful opportunity to develop skills in a cross-section of roles. A secondment into the marketing department allowed me to develop strategies to target students, academics and other stakeholders who may be looking for distinctive opportunities in higher education and the engineering sector. The majority of my time was spent researching and developing plans for the learning and living spaces. After researching what makes these spaces successful, whilst understanding the constraints of the buildings and the curriculum, we were able to submit a highly considered proposal to academic staff, architects and stakeholders to influence future developments. When seconded to the academic department we worked in small groups to test the proposed syllabus structure, and provide feedback to influence further improvements. One project involved creating a device for a child with syndactyly so they could play the violin. It was a highly rewarding project, which demanded efficient teamwork, communication and sympathetic design.Other opportunities include working on an outreach programme to engage children engineering, video editing experience, and organising an exhibition of our work for stakeholders and the public. -
