I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. I have been working as a Customs Team Leader at McBurney Transport Group since March 2021, where I have a dual role of customs administration and transport planning. I have achieved a Level 4 Customs Badge and a Transport Manager CPC, and I have a vast understanding of GB, ROI, and NI movements.In my current role, I work night shifts and deal with various challenges and opportunities in the road haulage industry. I use TSS and Thyme IT systems to manage the customs processes and ensure compliance with the regulations. I also support the planning team and coordinate the supply and demand of the transport services. I have trained and developed new staff and contributed to the improvement of the operations. I value teamwork, problem-solving, and customer satisfaction, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences from my previous role as an Assistant Manager at Domino's, where I handled customer complaints, money transactions, and staff training.
