I tutor English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning for children in Years 1 - 6. Many of my pupils need confidence boosting and consolidation of foundation skills to assist their success at school. I work closely with schools and parents to ensure consistent methods are taught and to reinforce the curriculum at a pace suitable for the individual child. I also tutor children who need help in preparing for their entrance tests to primary and secondary schools and the 7+, 11+ examinations and SATs. My aim is to help children fulfil their true potential and succeed at the appropriate level. (I do not prime children up simply to pass an exam to a school where they will then struggle to maintain that standard independently.) At Lanesborough ( a boys preparatory school) I was a Year 3 class teacher which involved teaching English, maths, science, geography, history, design and technology and PHSE. I also taught design and technology to Year 4.

I tutor maths and English to children aged 5-11. My aim is to build confidence to help children to reach their full potential. I have experience with preparing children for SATs and entrance examinations for secondary schools.

I spent one year at Barrow Hills School which is a mixed, independent school. Whilst working there I taught English, maths, science, geography, history, drama, PHSE and girls' sport.

During my three years at Brambletye I worked as a Year 3 and Year 4 class teacher. Brambletye is a mixed, independent school with very high standards. It feeds to some of the top public schools in the country.
