We help customers to deliver digitally, to better understand their options and take advantage of the benefits of digitalisation transforming the built environment sector today.I returned to my preferred field of construction and 5D BIM after a period as Director of an educational guardianship services business for a Spanish based agency placing children in boarding schools across the UK. Previous to this I worked with the field of implementation and management of Virtual Construction solutions to enable construction projects minimise risks, maximise return, and deliver on or ahead of schedule. I worked for Wara Project Management in Jordan carrying out the above duties and before having previously worked with Applecross Developments as their 5D Manager, where I was responsible for the implementation and management of Vico Software's 5D suite across the company's projects, including new process creation & training, involving both internal and external partners. Applecross were the first residential construction company to sucessfully adopt this software and 5D in the UK. Previous to this I was involved in the project management of the pre-construction phase, achieving planning and building warrant consents. Throughout my time at Applecross I was also responsible for their IT & comms systems through a combination of an outsourced IT support company, latterly NetworkROI, and some hands-on time myself. I was responsible for the implementation of four key business IT applications, with related business scoping and process change as part of Applecross’ Lean business transformation. As Applecross were undergoing a Lean Transformation, their core values of driving out process waste and continuous improvement were imparted on their staff and they are values that I try to apply to everything I am involved in today.Specialities: • 5D Implementation and Management using Vico Software virtual construction software• Project management• IT Management of small to medium company
