I lead a team of 17 people. My role includes overseeing hiring, team development and performance management, businessstrategy and results, community relationships, visual merchandising, RFID and store operations.

A core component of my role is customer relationships and research to identify opportunities and insights, and using this knowledge to inform marketing, new product design (NPD) and the strategic direction of Shot Darts. * Leading Shot Darts customer research. Developed research plans, participant recruitment, contracts and conducted empathy sessions. * Defined key insights, including core customer needs, stories and journeys, so Shot Darts deeply understand who their customer is. * Conducted quantitative research surveys and presented findings from over 400 participants.* Project managing NPD team including executing timelines, scheduling tasks and supporting team members. * Writing, documenting and presenting work in transcripts, reports, visual presentations.* Creating product design briefs, concepts and solutions informed by rich customer data.* Working with NPD team with concept/prototype testing and commercial evaluation. * Strategically developing brand identity, vision and positioning within the market to connect with core customer groups and organisational purpose.

VIRTUO is a strategic-creative design company that works with clients to develop new products, systems, brands and experiences through combining research, strategy, design, technology and commercialisation. This is done through empathetic customer research to define game-changing insights. CORE ROLE:• Human-centred ethnographic research. Conducting research for clients to deeply understand. • Searching out and uncovering winning insights. Defining insights from data. • Using insights to ideate thoughtful and creative new ideas and solutions.• Prototyping, testing and development.• Brand and marketing strategies including brand positioning, identity construction and strategising and producing activations.• Usability and feasibility testing of prototypes and concepts to inform the design process. • Developing relationships with clients and working closely with them, so they can champion the insights.
