As the Founder and CEO of Eticas.AI, a venture-backed organization, I lead efforts to identify and address algorithmic vulnerabilities, biases, and inefficiencies in predictive tools and large language models through comprehensive AI audits. Our mission is to foster transparent, accountable, and ethical AI systems that protect societal values and build public trust. In recognition of this work, I was honored in 2024 with the Mozilla Rise25 Award for contributions to ethical technology. I’ve also been selected for the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200 and received the Hispanic Star Award at the United Nations. In my role as President of the Board at the Eticas Foundation, I guide its strategy and management. One of my proudest achievements is developing the Adversarial AI Audit Framework, an innovative tool enabling independent, community-led audits of AI systems through reverse engineering. This initiative represents a major step toward democratizing AI accountability and ensuring technology serves all communities fairly. Beyond my work with Eticas, I advise global organizations, including the United Nations, OECD, European Commission, and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), on policies and standards for ethical AI.
