- Based within the Faculty of Business & Law and part of Careers & Employabilty- Responsible for leading and managing the faculties Placement team of up to eight- Supporting undergraduate students to gain a year in industry during their degree studies- Supporting postgraduate students with their In Company projects in their masters degree- Working closely with placement employers to build local and national relationships - CRM management of employers and placement students- Assisting with the communication planning for social media channels- Advertising and promoting placement opportunities for students- Designing and delivery workshops around employability and transferable skills- Organise briefing sessions to engage with first year and second year students- Working closely with tutors/ managers to monitor students on placement- Ensuring students are on track with their academic work whilst on placement- Resolving various issues students might have whilst out on placement - Support the transition of placement students returning to final year- Presenting to potential students at the Faculty and University Wide open days - Attending HE training, fairs and conferences to increase awareness of HE knowledge- Assisting with employer events, graduations and confirmation & clearing activities
