I'm currently the Engineering Team Lead at The Access Group within the Recruitment division. I currently manage a team of developers and testers and work alongside business analysts and product owners on a payroll product. As we are new team I helped recruit the other members of the team and onboarded them onto the solution.Recently I upgraded the solution to the latest version of .Net 8.0 and upgrade related packages on both the frontend and backend. Currently I working on the Roadmap to deliver more functionality to the product whilst creating a plan to improve the architecture so we can upgrade to the latest version of React, improve security and performance of the app and reduce development time. I have created new pipelines to deliver the upgrade and built in webhooks to automatically move tickets within the Azure board.I lead on the scrum meetings, planning and retro and work closely with product in refining the backlog and defining stories. Each sprint I create documents with information regarding the sprint and what has been released within the team. I'm looking at ways to engage with the customers to improve the product and deliver more features.

I was Technical Lead at Sagittarius, managing a team of developers and testers. I worked on two large large property development clients. I architected and developed full life cycle solutions, performed code reviews and lead the rest of the team to ensure we achieved the targets set with the client.I implemented a Blue/Green Zero Down Time deployments on Azure Devops. I created new pipelines and deployed regularly every sprint to the test environment. Working closely with the clients to agree priority on the backlog and sign off for each sprint for deployment to production. I also ran daily scrum, retro and planning and refinement sessions. and generated reports for release notes. I performed several upgrades on my projects using .Net and React. I also had considerations of security and account login with a personal area that could be accessed by customers to manage their account and make payments. I have improved and built new functionality functionality using .Net,Web API, including writing unit and integration tests alongside working closely with QA to build Playwright automation tests.

I have built unit tests into projects and integrated them into CI/CD. Senior software developer at a large Digital Agency I worked across several corporate websites. Building websites using C# .Net alongside front end developers and stakeholders. I developed new subsites for Qinetiq and TechnipFMC and was part of re-branding the WPP site using Sitecore 9 and Helix architecture. As part of the GDPR I was tasked to investigate every client site that we had to find cookie and data usage throughout.I learnt new skills including NodeJs, Gulp, Unicorn and Helix and expanded on my MVC, .Net and Sitecore knowledge.

My main project was re-building the School’s website which involved working closely with the marketing department and migrating data between systems The site was completely rebuilt from scratch using .Net. I later upgraded the site using the latest technologies and rebranding of the site, I added several new components to the site as well as as improving existing functionality. I built an app for booking rooms on campus and added features to the virtual learning environment software using .Net Core.

I worked on several government projects including London Olympics and Freedom Of Information requests from the public and ministers, I used MVC, jQuery and Entity Framework. Within my role I wrote detailed user specifications, test plans and user documentation as well as providing training and support to users.

Worked as a developer using .Net, SQL, QlikView and Ajax. My main project was migrating property management system for 40 clients into .Net 3.0 and manipulating the separate data sets into one database using an SSIS package. I worked closely with clients and account managers in delivering this.In addition I gained knowledge using an interactive Business Intelligence tool Qlikview, which was integrated into the system to provide dynamic graphs and data relating to the clients portfolio.
