Since the master plan is intended to serve as a long-term framework for the sustainable development of Butuan City, it should provide a vision that is consistent with the national and regional development objectives under the PDP and RDP, respectively and contribute to achieving the country’s long-term vision as spelled out in the AmBisyon 2040.
