The purpose of this placement was to review and enhance an existing Computer Assisted Assessment system regarding engineering drawings, CAD and the best practices for design. Organisation and attention to detail was a crucial aspect as well as excellent communication due to the need for collaboration between many different members of staff across a wide.

Working as part of a team as well as on individual projects I gained valuable experience within the Accessories Design Engineering department. I was involved in all aspects from the brief and concept stages, through to taking designs to production. Many skills were used and improved, presentation skills, communication with both my team and overseas.
