Ever since I was a Little Kid, Tourism/Customer Service has been my passion, I remember as it was yesterday the feeling and very first impression when I arrived at a big resort back in Mexico on one of my first family vacations. I was amazed at how this place creates magic and makes everything seem so perfect and easy. Was amazing to see how great Customer Service will be equal to happiness. So I Knew I wanted to create the same and more feelings for those who love or need to travel. This passion carried me through my education in Mexico at La Salle Morelia, further down the road I joined great teams, big and amazing Chains/Companies (Marriott, Starwood at the time those were running independent, Hilton) there were more resources available for me I was able to learn from the best. Since day one I wanted to be involved as much as possible, always trying to understand the why and how of each department of the hotel.Being front of the house ase Director of Guest Services for many years gave me the encouragement and confidence to move to back of the house. Working as Reservations Manager in a Corporate office, coordinating a team to manage multiple properties was humble and successful, i was able to dive into this new world behind curtains and learn from our direct Partners.But my favorite part of this position is being a mentor for those ones who are starting this career. What I love the most is helping them find strengths and build a path by providing the aggregate value which will help their development in this wonderful career. Working with new generations side by side to conquer the Hospitality Industry and somehow be part of their journey is the best feeling.
