I work in the Learning & Development team, within Talent Enablement. I collaborate closely with business and HR leaders to provide training and development services to Hitachi Digital, Hitachi Vantara and Hitachi Digital Services. I am responsible for designing and developing highly interactive content for live delivery, as well as delivering engaging virtual training sessions myself. Following the merger of Hitachi Consulting and Hitachi Vantara, I worked in the Global Talent Development Team, and collaborated closely with HR and business leaders to bring development solutions to their teams. I was responsible for designing and developing training content for live delivery and eLearning, as well as delivering training on People Managers skills and other training for Individual Contributors in EMEA. I developed training for use in all our regions globally on subjects that include Leading Through Change, Navigating Through Change, Behavioural Interviewing (eLearning), Japanese Culture (eLearning) and content for our Perspectives for Leaders series.Having defined the strategy and process for Hitachi Vantara's use of the UK Apprenticeship Levy, I managed UK employee requests to use the funding for 1-5year training programs from graduate level up to senior executive. I worked closely with external training providers and internal legal and procurement teams to set up these training programs at no additional cost to the organisation.Personal Training Highlight: Ginger Leadership Communications' “Amplify Program” which culminated in delivering an 8-minute TED-style talk to a large global audience.

Working in the Global Learning & Development Team, I was responsible for planning, marketing, organising and delivering learning and development activities for Hitachi Consulting employees based in EMEA. This included delivering live training (in person and virtual), providing guidance on a range of learning platforms and supporting competency assessment and performance management activities through delivery of training. Live programs I delivered focused on developing Behavioural Interviewing skills, Consulting skills and People Manager skills, Feedback skills and hosting numerous Leadership panel discussions.Personal Training Highlight: participating in Critical Behaviour Interviewing (internal Train the Trainer course)

On this four year secondment from Hitachi, I worked for two years in the Government Olympic Executive (GOE), and then for two years in the London Organising Committee (LOCOG), performing numerous roles in the Programme-wide PMO, and specialising in risk management. During the summer of 2012 at the Olympic Games themselves, I trained and led a team of volunteers working in the Beach Volley Ball Venue Communication Centre (VCC) at Horse Guards Parade. During the Paralympic Games I provided management cover for a number of VCCs at a range of venues including the Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre.Personal Training Highlight: MSP(R): Managing Successful Programmes certification.

I joined Impact Plus' graduate development program as a Research Analyst. I moved quickly into consulting and managerial roles working for clients focused on process improvement, project and change management, stakeholder engagement and communications. Clients included RAC, Ministry of Defence, Royal and SunAlliance, Office of Fair Trading and Barclays bank.From early 2006 I took on responsibility for the graduate development program at Impact Plus until acquisition by Hitachi Consulting. Responsibilities included hiring, developing, performance managing and coaching a group of highly talented and ambitious junior consultants also working on client projects.Personal Training Highlights: PRINCE2(R) Practitioner Certification and Sheppard Moscow's "Positive Power and Influence" program.
