Following the births of my daughters I decided to reduce my hours. Due to the nature of the Account Support Manager it was not possible to fulfil this role on a part-time basis and as such I am currently working in the fleet coordinator role until such time as I can return full-time.The role provides office support to 7 field based Business Development Managers. Looking after their customers and admin tasks while they are on the road. It requires a good telephone manner and good organisational skills as it's a very busy role.

Managing the team of Volvo Account Support Managers who provide office based support to Volvo Car UK Account Development Managers (ADM's), and their associated fleets and regions. Whilst also supporting 3 Volvo ADM's. The roles primary objective is to alleviate as much of the account management from the managers in the field allowing them to prospect for new fleets and spend more time with their ‘Share Growth Potential’ fleets. Also looking after the team, attending regular meetings and hosting Volvo Fleet events.Key Accountabilities:• Progress, prioritise and schedule workload requests from ADM's and other contacts. • Monitoring emails on a daily basis and actioning the workload as appropriate. • Co-ordinating requests for demonstration vehicles, marketing materials and product information.• Monitoring progress of offers made to customers, and ensuring a smooth claims process.• Compilation of reports for Senior Management detailing the activity of regional managers.• Building relationships with the ADM’s, Dealerships and customers. • Keeping the ADM’s consolidated fleets fully appraised of any product additions or changes, and any events that the customer may be invited to attend. • Attending customer events as a representative of Wunderman and Volvo Car UK.• To maintain awareness of all changes or updates to ISO procedures.

Role to provide "in market" drivers with an opportunity to test-drive a Ford vehicle of their choice. Providing a one stop shop for Company car drivers, assisting with any queries or problems they may have.

I initially started working part time for WCJ in March 1998 whilst studying at college. In August 1999, after successfully completing my course, I was invited to join the company on a permanent full time basis as a data administrator handling dealer enquires, incoming calls and performing general office duties.
