I'm an author, facilitator and arts manager who is passionate about the value of creativity in our lives and of supporting others to bring their artistic ideas to life.As a published and experienced writer, I'm regularly commissioned to facilitate workshops and create new work, including by Adidas, BBC Radio 3, Guardian Virtual Reality Studio, Museum of London, Paperchase, Southbank Centre and Tate Modern. I set up and run Write & Shine, a unique programme of early morning writing events and a library of online courses. We host weekly workshops, retreats and talks, inviting a range of inspiring international artists to lead sessions each season. We offer a vibrant, creative space for our community, engaging people from across Europe. I've worked with artists and creative organisations for over fifteen years. At Arts Council England I​ initiated the Jerwood Compton Poetry Fellowships for ground-breaking poets​ and played a key role in the design of 'Developing your Creative Practice,' a £3.6m/year fund for artists. As the first UK lead for Kickstarter, I spent two years creating impact in the UK and enabling writers, publishers, comic artists, makers, performers, visual artists and filmmakers find the resources and support they need to make their creative ideas a reality.
