As a member of the Cleeve Site Leadership Team, my responsibilities include:• Providing direction to & leading the receiving inspection, production quality, first article inspection, and final inspection & release teams.• Building and maintaining relationships with wider business stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Programmes and Supply Chain, to facilitate a link between the front office and transactional part of the business.• Overseeing Operational Quality requirements (FAIR’s, Quality Contract Requirements etc.), and internal and external RCCA requirements.• Maintaining awareness and managing production forecast/capacity plans, as well as supporting the adjustment of operational performance to deliver in accordance with demand and plans.• Acting as a point of escalation for all Quality practices.• Supporting and guiding the Quality team through effective coaching to fulfil their development.• Maintaining, monitoring and executing department training and development plans in line with strategic talent and succession planning initiatives.• Ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and processes for both technical and people practices in allocated area.• Proactively participating in the adoption of new products focusing on training, processes, and floor space/layout. Be proactive in setup, staffing and training to support new adoptions.• Monitor, maintain, and improve Quality KPI’s in accordance with established goals.

My responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:• Manage and lead members of the Configuration and Change and Final Inspection Teams.• Ensure access to technical data for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with company policy, current legislation and any necessary contractual obligations.• Manage configuration tools, as well as providing necessary access in accordance with business requirements.• Manage the Engineering change process from initiation through to implementation, including TRB/ CIB meetings.• Validate engineering changes to ensure compliance to all regulatory and company requirements prior to approval and implementation.• Ensure the management of drawing and document change requests occurs in a timely fashion and in accordance with the company procedures.• Manage the maintenance of the Engineering and Manufacturing bills of materials on the ERP business system during implementation of approved change requests.• Management of part attributes in the ERP business system.• Management of company software, including updates and accessibility.• Provide change management and document control support to New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.• Use metrics and KPIs to measure and manage the Configuration and Change, and Final Inspection Teams.• Support the planning of resources to successfully implement the business strategy.

- Handling of sensitive technical data for aircraft and trains.- Configuration Management- Communicating and liaising with both internal and external stake holders on a daily basis, via telephone and email as well as in person.- Adherence to company-relevant legislature as well as company processes and procedures.- Review of company procedures with a view to improving them.- Use of ERP systems to manage data, as well as web application document management systems (SharePoint).- Co-manage the configuration and permission sets within SharePoint.- Training of new starters in the use of SharePoint.- Use of editing software, such as Photoshop Elements, to amend documentation when required.- Co-Management of Technical Publications.- Drafting and implementation of technical changes to data (change notes).- Active member of both the Corporate Social Responsibility team and the Health & Safety Committee.
