I lead the National Public Safety Mobile Broadband (PSMB) Entity (NPE) workstream of the PSMB Taskforce. This included leading co-design with states and territories, leading development of key policy positions, and driving internal collaboration and connection.A national PSMB capability will provide emergency service personnel with fast, safe and secure voice, video and data communications and instant access to data, images and information in live situations, emergencies and critical incidents. It will enable real time, data-rich analytics, situational awareness and cross-border communications – for example, between ground crews, aerial assets and incident control centres.The new dedicated NPE will deliver, operate and maintain the PSMB capability, which will provide emergency service personnel with fast, safe and secure voice, video and data communications and instant access to data.

Driving the development and delivery of programs to support the early childhood education and care sector's workforce. This included through engagement with key stakeholders, development of policy, and implementation of grants programs.

Key achievements included delivering a new approach to Australia’s seasonal worker programs and industry priority plans for the National Careers Institute, and leading development of an IT reform project in Vocational Education and Training.

Provided policy advice to the Minister on matters including country of origin labelling, defence industry, manufacturing, auto franchising and building and construction.Managed key relationships with stakeholders and key senior departmental staff.

Delivered key priorities across the skills portfolio including:- Developing and delivering the program governance, risk, program management, communications and stakeholder engagement plans for the new VET student loans program- Drafting the submission responding to the Joyce review of Australia’s VET system. - Establishing and managing the VET Student Loans Implementation Advisory Group and other critical stakeholder consultation mechanisms

Led the transition of the new VET Student Loans program.

Led key policy priorities in the International and Human Rights Section of the Office for Women including- managing the organisation of key international delegations including Australia's delegation to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women-Drafting 2012-13 report on Gender Balance on Australian Government Boards.- Provided policy advice on issues including violence against women and workplace gender equality.- Drafted the Australian Government’s eighth report on the Convention for the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women

Worked across key priorities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people including providing national management of the remote Municipal and Essential Services Program.

Areas of focus included counter-terrorism, inter country adoption, emergency management, legal aid and pacific development.
