I was the main property management contact for the company properties in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area. Although accounting functions were handled at the corporate office, I received and coded invoices at this location and forwarded to corporate for processing. The executive team utilized me to assist in the budgeting process for both the company and the operating budgets of all the properties. I assisted in real estate transactions and any other administrative tasks the real estate department needed assistance with. All of the office purchasing was performed by me and over the last two years I found ways to cut costs. I enjoyed having a variety of duties and constantly being busy. I feel it is helpful to understand multiple departments of a company in order to understand the big picture. -
