Responsibilities include; following up with insurance companies patient bills, communicating with patients, insurance verification and authorizations, verifying the billing is correct for the Great Falls Clinic Surgery Center, entering the billing and sending out the claims.

Responsibilities included maintaining current Medicare updates for all procedures, processing Medicare payments for over one hundred providers at a multi-specialty clinic, researching and correcting all coding errors and denials on Medicare claims, and communicating with patients concerning account status and collection procedures.

Coded hospital procedures for a nineteen doctor multi-specialty practice using correct CPT and ICD-9 information and maintained current CPT and ICD-9 coding updates. Computer operations included processing payments from insurance companies and individuals, making all necessary adjustments to patient accounts and filing electronic insurance claims. Served as a consultant when the clinic began filing secondary insurances. Cross trained as an assistant in the Accounts Receivable Department.
