I am a licensed Physical Therapist of 15 years. I have obtained a diverse background in pediatric care and have worked in various settings including early intervention, private school and pediatric outpatient facilities. I have clinical experience in acute care settings and the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. I have treated a multitude of developmental, neurological, neuromuscular and orthopedic diagnoses ranging from birth to 22 years old. I enjoy working as a team with families and find it of utmost importance to involve parents in the physical therapy process from beginning to end. I have a very unique approach and find it crucial to not only understand the physical state of the child but the child as a whole. I combine many treatment techniques and philosophies and tailor a unique protocol for each child. I am most satisfied when I can assist children with reaching functional goals and ultimately aid in improving their quality of life.I am the primary author of the orthopedic section of the APTA entitled "Torticollis," I am certified in Neorodevelopmental Treatment and the Therasuit method. I have taken many continuing education courses in myofascial release craniosacral therapy and strain counter strain therapy. I have also authored over 20 informational articles on various diagnoses and topics for a local newspaper in NJ.In addition, I am very proud to announce that I have recently become an administrator at Lentz &Lentz SAT Groups, an established college preparatory service for over 40 years, with classes in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
