Ideas, visions, passion, freedom, excitement, dynamic team emerged, sold the vision to Kampouris, wrong manager hired, fire went out, left Trane 3 times, program eventually died.

Back to engineering, tough challenge starting over but everything clicked. Involved with upgrading the recip compressor design and manufacturing operation. Automation, demand flow, lean manufacturing, innovative thought... became passionate about engineering again.

Released 5 CD’s of original prog rock, somewhat based on Tolkien's work: Join the Celebration, Two Feet Tall, Rockin’ the Shire, Lost & Found, and All for the One. It was an unforgetable experience and we almost made it, but afterward I carried the same passion back into Engineering. No regrets at all.

Started as maintenance engineer, learned the entire factory, nuts and bolts, bearings, machining, relay logic. Learned from Dick Berkhouse. Big opportunity taking Spine Fin from a bad operation to a model for the factory; Stuben Award. Evolved into manufacturing engineer in assembly, sheet metal, fabrication, machining… Show more HVAC in Tyler Texas that designed and manufactured both residential systems and recip compressors. Very rewarding, but the original music of Hobbit was stronger. Got a break, financial backing from NY, and a chance of a lifetime opportunity; so I left GE and engineering to become a rock star.
