I am a highly motivated, experienced law enforcement professional with over 32 years of military and civilian law enforcement service including over 10 years of progressive supervisory and command experience. Quick learner, with a positive attitude. I have strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to provide results. In addition to my extensive experience dealing with and communicating with people, I have a proven track record as a problem solver. I hold a Masters Peace Officer Certification with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) and have amassed in excess of 5600 hours of TCOLE documented training; to include Instructor Proficiency and Special Investigator Certificates. I retired in November of 2019 as a Lieutenant with 20 years of service to the City of Hill Country Village; including over 17 years as a criminal investigator, conducting all types of criminal investigations ranging from petty theft to homicide. After retiring, I accepted the position of Captain with the Shavano Park Police Department, where I was the patrol commander and second in charge to the Police Chief. Additionally, my duties included internal affairs investigations, grant preparation and acquisition, agency training coordinator, fleet maintenance and more.
