Energy & Sustainability Manager – Vice President (new position created within company 2010)Responsible for establishing the leadership of best practices, soliciting senior management endorsement for a comprehensive energy management program. Sets short and long-term corporate goals, collaborates with other facility management and construction colleagues. Maintains on-going energy audits through external and internal resources, and conduct ensure periodic rate analysis. Seeks out all external funding initiatives and support. The Energy & Sustainability Manger is directly responsible for the owning the management of the corporate utilities budget of $15 million dollars. *Wrote a mission statement, and a strategy for managing the utilities.*Savings achieved of $2MM in procurement wins, and other savings.*Began the scoring process for EnergyStar.gov at select major buildings.*Selection of third –party energy auditors, and then manage the process, followed by developing action plans. Obtaining capital appropriations is a duty of this also.*Selection and implementation of capital project(s), to include rebates and EPACT applications, etc. These projects are typically cash positive against depreciation month one, and have quick paybacks. ($400K in two years)*Writing and submission of quarterly newsletter articles within company, and delivered on company intranet.

Managed facilities totaling almost 2.3 million square feet with an operating budget of $7,720,000 Facilities included 60 neighborhood banking offices, 97 off-site ATM locations, and four major buildings accounting for over 1 million square feet of the above as well as a 476,000 square feet data center, and a 45,330 square feet recovery center. Managed two Facilities Managers and eight Facilities Technicians.

Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrading of four major buildings with a combined area of over 1.3 million square feet. Primary duties include the preparation of operating and capital plans with team input; administration of mechanical solutions and contract/vendor relations; management of construction projects; and resolution of daily problems. I also am the Change Control Coordinator (a data center communication and approval process). Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Physical Security Audits. Also, assigned more defined role within energy management duties April 2009. Achievements:*As the Owners Representative, new banking office construction project in 2007. The 3,500 sf facility / $1.7M.*Successful completion of the Indianapolis Data Center HVAC infrastructure upgrade, a $100,000 project.*Proposed a change in security staffing to the downtown complex that will avoid $80,313 annually.*Prepared a never-before data center electrical forecast to determine available capacity left in our primary computing area of 38,724 square feet. *Developed and implemented a single-cord solution for the ATM Tandem that hosts all 1,400 ATMs in the network. *Implemented an annual generator gear and electrical switchgear PM program and recommissioning test to improve reliability. *Discovery and removal of unnecessary excess telephone lines in the downtown complex, saving $2,980 annually.*Coordinated the 2007 daylight savings time change project throughout the entire corporate footprint. *Began investigation to install a solar array to produce either 40kW, and began scoring large buildings of the corporate portfolio for EnergyStar. *Have worked on various energy savings projects, such as; energy audits, lighting retrofits, investigation of electric vehicle charging stations, and strategies to reduce utility costs associated with vending machines.

The building is 460,000 square feet, of which 38,724 square feet are computing environment.*Successful selection, application for funding, and oversight of the installation of the $150,000 critical systems monitoring project (SiteScan). Since installation, the system has been expanded to monitor the majority other major corporate buildings with computing environments.*Participated on a cross-functional team that prepared an RFP, then selected and implemented a third party contract for utility spend of 400 buildings.*Calculated the loads for the data center, and directly oversaw the electrical load-shedding sequence change. (This is a highest priority for the infrastructure of a data center.)*Renegotiated and ensured that all critical data center electrical components were covered by our ongoing preventive service contract, totaling $250,000, at six campuses. (A representative example). *Manager of team that opened eight new offices from 2003 to 2007 in the central Ohio region.

Managed ATM Construction of a varying portfolio of as many 1,000 units at any one time throughout entire corporation. Planned construction and equipment budgets. Ordered ATM equipment, software for installations, and removals in five states. Participated in supplier selection process and supplier performance reviews. Also managed the warehousing of ATM equipment. Supervised two ATM Construction Managers. Also coordinated off-site ATM maintenance and repairs.

Responsible for planning and scheduling preventive maintenance and projects. Prepared operating and capital plans, with team input. Provided administration of mechanical solutions, contract/vendor administration.
