Failure to obtain C-TPAT certification would have multi-million dollar implications due to the potential of a lost customer base.-Raised the security and safety levels of the $250M Woodhead Industries acquisition to Molex security/safety standards so that it passed the US Customs validation audits.-Lead an association of corporate security directors, federal and local law enforcement agencies, fire agencies and county emergency government along the I-88 Technology Corridor in the western Chicago suburbs. This association worked to bring coordination between corporate entities and the public sector so that we could respond effectively as a team in the event of a terrorist attack or natural disaster in DuPage County, IL.-Designed and installed access control, CCTV camera and fire/burglar alarms systems at facilities across the US and Mexico. These systems are integrated into the company's IT networks so that all these systems can be controlled from the corporate HQ Security Command Center.-Worked with State Police, FBI, CBP, Homeland Security, State Department, Secret Service, Postal Inspectors and local law enforcement agencies on a variety of investigations and disaster planning. -Was an integral part of the Business Continuity Planning team at the corporate HQ. Responsible for global security, emergency communications and Command Post operations.-Managed a staff of sixteen.
