Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Stage Integration and System Assembly at Astra Space: Developed assembly processes, specified tooling, generated manufacturing build and flow plans, and provided DFMA input for launch vehicle designs.

New Glenn Stage 1 - July 2018 to presentPlanning the installation operations for cryogenic feedlines, fluids systems and BE4 engines on the NG Stage 1 booster. Presently collaborating with vendors to complete the design of a 6 DOF, semi-automated tool for installing engines, feedlines, and base heat shield panels, and for access platforms and jigs required for installing fluids systems components.

New Shepard Suborbital Launch VehicleReviewed engineering drawings for component assembly and installation, developed manufacturing processes, specified tooling, collaborated with tooling designers and fabricators, wrote work orders, commissioned tooling, led critical lifts, and supported manufacturing operations in the Kent facility and at Launch Site One in West Texas. My work contributed to 16 successful flights of four individual reusable suborbital launch vehicles including the company’s first flight with 4 humans onboard the crew capsule.

Wrote manufacturing planning, initiated tooling designs, reviewed flight hardware designs, supervised critical moves and worked assembly related issues on Peacekeeper and SICBM stage 1 solid rocket motors.
