• Created and launched Liberty Insurance’s new dedicated Broker website Liberty Connect in April 2023. This required proofreading and editing existing copy as well as writing new content for the entire website. This was signed off by major stakeholders as well as managers in Compliance, Product and Brand. • Managed Liberty Insurance’s (Direct) and Liberty Connect’s (Broker) communications strategy, which includes engagement and campaign content.• Worked with an SEO partner to create blog articles that are shared on social media. • Executed an Underinsurance campaign along with Liberty’s Compliance and Product teams, as requested by the Central Bank of Ireland. This included a new landing page on the Liberty Insurance website, a blog article and email copy for our two sets of customers.• Created digital and print assets on Canva.

• Sole Copywriter at Peninsula Ireland. Produced content for four businesses under the Peninsula Group umbrella: Peninsula Ireland, Peninsula Northern Ireland, Graphite HRM and BrightHR. • Content creation included blog articles, radio ad scripts, social media copy, webinar copy, email communications, advice guides and sales collateral. I also wrote newspaper and magazine articles on behalf of key stakeholders, some of which required me to conduct interviews.• I planned a monthly content calendar and used Google Analytics, Semrush and SEO reports to do so. During my time with Peninsula, we saw month-on-month readership growth of our blog content. • Switched to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic and seamlessly communicated with various teams, managers and stakeholders to ensure we stuck to our content plan.

• My role with Harvey Norman was my first copywriting position. Within 5 months I had risen from Junior Copywriter to Senior Copywriter, the only Copywriter working for Harvey Norman in Ireland.• For FY18, our team achieved record-breaking online sales for Harvey Norman Ireland.• While my daily copywriting tasks included writing descriptions for a wide range of online products, I also wrote the copy for three product catalogues that were released in stores nationwide.• I also wrote blog articles, email copy and TV/radio ad scripts.

I gained invaluable copywriting, agency, and real-life experience during this internship. I worked on live briefs as well as content for online, social, and traditional forms of advertising:• Received live briefs, conducted research, and presented my ideas to the creative team. • Developed insights and ideas for ongoing advertising campaigns (including a social campaign for Fyffes).• Proofread client websites and studied previous campaigns.

Multitasking and taking responsibility for the quality of the store and customer experience.• Quickly rose from basic position of new starter to head of close down, where I am responsible for managing a team ensuring all tasks are completed by close of business. • Provide support to the deputy manager/manager and complete each task to the highest standard.• Interface with customers on a regular basis and efficiently deal with any feedback the may have.

I held the position of a stonemason for a year and a half while living in Vancouver. Reflecting upon my time there I now realise I have the skills to run a stonework business myself if I wanted to. I learnt to direct and work with others while on site, and plan ahead and delegate tasks for upcoming jobs. I honed in my time keeping skills, delegation skills, being able to work as part of a team and on my own. All of the skills that I did learn are one's that I can take into any business. Its only been since I finished in this position that I see how much I learnt, and I now have new skills that I'm looking to use.
