As the Packaging Equipment Engineer, my role provides high quality engineering services to support the short and long term needs of the company. I assist commercial operations unit by providing detailed line rate, packaging line capital estimates and crew size information for all new products being considered for production at the Greenville NC site. I am the primary point of contact of all packaging equipment for Oral Solid Dose (OSD) packaging area as well as a technical resource for sterile packaging. I handle the specifying, purchasing and maintaining all change parts for the solid dose packaging area. I am one part of the decision process that decides when and from whom new equipment is purchased. I have provided support on numerous FAT/SAT’s both foreign and domestic. I have numerous IQ/OQ/PQ’s completed successfully ranging from simple line changes to complete line installations. I work with numerous groups on a daily basis to ensure the continued compliance with all cGMP regulations. I am currently a team member with our site serialization team, working on installation plans for the implementation of serialized finished packaging.

Set up, operate, validate, trouble shoot, and repair equipment utilized in the manufacture and packaging of powdered respiratory medications.
